Eileen Redmond

Beloved Eileen passed away peacefully on Feb.14, 2019 at the age of 93. Born July 9 1925 in the West End to Irish parents Nellie McGurk and James Redmond. She will be dearly missed by her nieces Linda and Treacy (Josée), nephews Brian (Nathalie), John (Lori), Jim (Faye) and John (Carol); nieces-in-law Joy and Belinda; great-nieces and nephews Colleen, Jonathan, Chloé, Sébastien, Ashley, Tyler, Tim, Sean, Jason, Tim, Ken, Kyle, Ryan, Rosalynn and Jeannie. Predeceased by her cherished siblings Dorothy (James Dempsey), Jim (Patricia McLaughlin) and John (Margaret Treacy); and loving nephews Patrick and Kevin Dempsey and Barry Redmond. Eileen had the biggest heart & was always smiling and appreciative. Dedicated volunteer, faithful parishioner, favorite aunt & avid animal lover. She worked in Simpson’s accounting department for over 30 years. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Chateau Pierrefonds. Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Moore Church, 980 Moffat Ave. in Verdun, on Sat. May 4 at 1pm. In Eileen's memory, please support a charity of your choice.
